Privacy Policy

Overview

Visa Tracker ("the App") is developed by StudioChrome AI ("we", "us", "our"). We built Visa Tracker with privacy as a core principle. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All your trip data, rulesets, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

  • No analytics or usage tracking
  • No crash reporting SDKs
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No third-party SDKs that collect data
  • No account creation or login required
  • No data is transmitted to our servers (we don't have any)

Photo Library Access

The App offers an optional feature to reconstruct your travel history from photos. When you grant photo library access:

  • We read only metadata (dates and GPS coordinates) from your photos' EXIF data
  • We do not read, copy, store, or transmit any actual images
  • Location data extracted from photos is stored only on your device and used solely to generate trip entries
  • Photo library access is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent via the iOS permission dialog

On-Device Storage

All trip data, ruleset configurations, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage mechanisms (Core Data / UserDefaults). This data remains on your device and is included in your device backups according to your iOS backup settings.

iCloud Sync

The App offers optional iCloud sync, which is disabled by default. If you enable iCloud sync:

  • Your trip data is synced across your devices via Apple's iCloud infrastructure (CloudKit)
  • This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
  • We do not have access to your iCloud data
  • You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the App settings

In-App Purchases

The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases (Pro subscriptions and Lifetime unlock). All purchase transactions are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple and governed by their Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection SDKs. The only external frameworks used are Apple's own frameworks (StoreKit for purchases, CloudKit for optional sync, WidgetKit for widgets, and SiriKit for voice commands).

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from children or anyone else. Since we do not collect any personal information, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data by uninstalling the App. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you can also delete your iCloud data through iOS Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
